James Belushi is not the only Albanian whose surname ends in "-shi", while being a patronymic, just like in the Svan language. There are also Turkeshi, Barbullushi, Bilibashi, Cikalleshi, Gurashi, Kabashi, Matoshi, Telushi, Vajushi, Manushi, Zarishi, Koreshi, Kaleshi.
It is enough to single out the suffix "-shi" as a basic one. The fact that this is precisely a suffix is evident from the example of the surname "Turkeshi".
As is known, surnames ending in "-shi" are typically Laz: Tugushi, Khalvashi, Bagvashi. The Svans also have them, only with a different vowel at the end: "-sha". By the way, the Albanians also have such surnames: Belisha, Berisha, Strakosha.
This is additional and very serious evidence that "Albania" is, in fact, a combination of the article with the root "Lub", to which a whole chapter is dedicated in the project "Between Two Iberias" - "A L(u)bania". At the same time, as we remember, the nation of Lubes is identified with the Laz, that is, it is Kartvelian.
